Your doctor and naturopath are on the same team

Updated

As a TMRW member, your doctor and naturopath are part of the same clinical team. They work from the same blood results and health information, with different expertise contributing to your plan.

Your doctor’s review, your clinician appointments and the recommendations you follow day to day are connected. What comes up in one part of your care can inform what happens in another.

How their expertise comes together

Your doctor reviews your results alongside your symptoms and medical history, assessing whether anything needs further investigation, treatment or follow-up. Doctors also support prevention and lifestyle changes, with medical training that allows them to diagnose conditions and prescribe medicines.

Your naturopath uses that same information to help shape the practical parts of your plan. Your appointments might explore your meals, sleep, movement and stress, and how to fit recommendations into your routine. This complementary support works alongside medical care; it does not replace medical diagnosis or treatment.

Those roles connect throughout your membership. If your doctor identifies a finding that needs attention, it can affect what your naturopath prioritises in your plan. Equally, a new symptom you mention during a naturopath appointment may need medical review.

Your Pods are part of the same plan

If you take Precision Pods, your naturopath considers your results, symptoms and medications when building your formula. What your doctor identifies in your results is relevant to those decisions too.

Supplements can interact with medicines, including products bought without a prescription. Keeping your team updated about what you take helps them review whether your formula remains appropriate alongside your medical care.

What you share helps inform your care

Your appointments are a chance to talk about how you’ve been feeling and how the plan is working in practice. Perhaps you’re sleeping longer but still waking up tired, or a meal recommendation is proving difficult to fit around work.

You don’t need to decide whether a routine question belongs with your doctor or naturopath before raising it. Your clinical team can help determine who needs to review it. You can also share routine updates and questions through clinical team chat in the app.

Your plan at follow-up

At follow-up appointments and retesting, your results, symptoms and experience of the plan are considered together. That gives your team a basis for reviewing medical follow-up, daily recommendations and, where appropriate, your formula.

Your doctor and naturopath continue to contribute to the same plan as your health and circumstances change. Their work sits alongside the care you receive from your usual GP and specialists.
