Chris McCormack joins TMRW as our newest ambassador
Four-time triathlon world champion Chris “Macca” McCormack is joining TMRW as our newest ambassador, sharing an honest account of his health after more than 20 years in professional sport.
At 53, Chris wants to understand what those years have meant for his body, and how to look after it now.
“People would call me the fittest man on the planet in my racing years. What they don't see is the bill that comes after 20 years at the top of professional triathlon.”
During his racing career, his decisions revolved around performance. He was focused on fuelling, cutting weight and pushing his body to its limits. Looking back, he acknowledges that some of the ways he reached those targets were never healthy.
“You don't feel it at 30. You feel it in your fifties. The cost is real.”
He also remembers the structure that helped him understand his body as an athlete. Testing informed his training, and retesting showed him how he was responding.
After retirement, that structure fell away. Chris found himself adding supplements and trying routines without the same information to guide him. A standard approach never felt right for someone who had spent his career working so closely with his own numbers.
He wanted to bring testing and ongoing review back into the way he looked after himself. That is what drew him to TMRW.
TMRW brings health testing, clinical support and personalised supplements together. Your results are considered alongside your health history, symptoms and goals, helping your clinical team build a plan around you.
Through follow-up testing and clinical reviews, your team can track changes and review your plan and daily formula. Your results and plan sit together in the TMRW app, making it easier to follow your progress and understand what comes next.
For Chris, that ongoing process feels familiar.
His focus now is on staying strong and active, with a clearer understanding of his health as he gets older. The discipline he brought to racing still matters to him. He is applying it to a different stage of life.
We’re glad to have Chris sharing that experience as part of TMRW, including the questions that come with it. His story opens up a conversation about what it means to look after a body that has already done a lot.
