Katie Williams on blood testing, biological age and tracking her health

Updated

After 19 years in elite sport, Katie Williams is still learning about her body.

As a world champion beach sprinter, trainer and podcaster, she has built a career around performance and health. Paying attention to how she feels and tracking how she performs have long been part of her life.

Her testing with TMRW added something new to that understanding. It revealed aspects of her health that her fitness tracking and physical cues hadn’t picked up, giving her and her clinical team more to explore.

Now we’re partnering with Katie as she takes that closer look and shares the process openly. Over the coming months, she’ll talk about her results, how they inform her plan and what changes when she tests again.

Understanding her results

For Katie, the value is in bringing the information together. Blood testing, insights into how her body is ageing and her health history all help build a fuller picture. Doctors and naturopaths work together to interpret that information and help her understand what it means for her.

Her clinical team helps her decide where to focus and what to do next. Together, they build a plan around her results, with support as she puts those changes into practice.

A plan that evolves with her

That plan includes her daily formula, created using her results and delivered in Pods. As her results change, the formula can be updated too. The TMRW app keeps her results and plan in one place, with access to her clinical team when questions come up.

Repeat testing is a particular draw for Katie. After years of following performance data, she wants to be able to follow changes in her health too. Comparing results over time gives her and her clinicians a way to review her plan and decide what needs attention next.

Sharing her progress

It also gives her something concrete to share. Katie plans to talk about what she’s working on, what’s shifting and what’s taking longer. Her story will follow the process as it happens, including the adjustments along the way.

That openness is part of why we're working together. "I don't want to stand on the outside of this space and endorse it," Katie says. "I want to be in it, studying, learning, asking better questions and sharing what I learn so other people can become more curious about the bodies they live in." She has spent much of her career helping others think about their health. By sharing her own experience, she'll offer a closer look at what it means to understand your results, work with a clinical team and keep learning as your health changes.

Keep up with Katie’s results, the changes she’s making and her progress along the way.
